Sweet Field Flowers

Hi All, here's a sweet card we made at Stamp Club last week.  I just love this flower stamp it is so beautiful...  The flower image is also embossed with the brand new Vanilla Scented Embossing Powder, it smells soooo nice.

The scented embossing powder is supposed to remain scented for up to 3 weeks.  So if you are using it for a specific event I'd make your cards or creations as close to the date as possible.  Make everything up just leave the embossing till just beforehand.

Project Recipe:
Stamps: Field Flowers
Ink:  Lucky Limeade, Riding Hood Red, Versamark
Card: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Twitterpated DSP
Accessories: Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Vanilla Scented Embossing Powder, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Dimensionals

Hello Baby

Hiya All, yep you guessed it there's a new bundle of joy arrived to bring joy and happiness.  This little bundle of joy is my friend Tara's nephew Baxter over in Sydney.  Baxter arrived last week and he and Mum are both healthy and well.

Here's the cute little card I made up for Tara to send over welcoming Baxter to the world.

It is a sweet little card, I'm sure you've seen some of these out there in blog land.  I am not sure who the person was that first showed using the Stocking Tag Punch to make the booties.  I would love to give them credit, so if you know who it is please leave me a comment.

Project Recipe:

Ink:  Baja Breeze
Card: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Twitterpated DSP
Big Shot etc: Framelit Labels Die, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Punches: Stocking Tag (retired), Modern Label

Cup of Thanks

Oh what a lovely week it's been, just a short working week for me just 3 days.  The Easter break was just what I needed a bit of socialising, rest and relaxation and a goodly portion of spring cleaning and organising.

Right now I'm very blessed to have my parents visiting from Katanning and they have been helping me out with those fiddly little jobs that are a bit hard on my own.  For which I'm very very thankful... which ties in nicely with the project I'm going to post... A Cup of Thanks which features the lovely Tea Shoppe Stamp Set from the Autumn/Winter Mini.

This simple little item once opened has pouches inside to hold tea/coffee or hot chocolate satchels.  Perfect for a quick little gift and very versatile.  It came together quite easily using colours from the Twitterpated DSP and the lovey Pear Pizzaz pleated ribbon.

This is one of the projects we will be making at this months stamp club coming up this Saturday 14th, Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th.  There are still spaces available if you would like to attend, class fee is $8.

Project Recipe:
Stamps: Tea Shoppe
Ink:  Blushing Bride, Basic Grey
Card: Basic Grey, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Twitterpated DSP
Punches: Word Window
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Pear Pizzaz Pleated Ribbon

Easter Wishes

Hi All

Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter long weekend.  If you're travelling please be safe and enjoy the journey.  It's been a good start to the Easter weekend for me, a nice sleep in followed by washing the floors a bit of "spring" cleaning in the closet. A catch up with some girlfriends this afternoon... who knows where the rest of the weekend will take me.

I thought it was time for a card post, as it's been a little while since my last visit here.  My mojo has been put to the side lately due to general busy-ness of life and work.  Hopefully sometime over the weekend I'll get a chance to play with some of my new goodies from the mini and share them with you all.

The card I have to post was actually made a couple of weeks ago using one of my favourite sets from the Idea Book & Catalogue Zoo Review.  Yep you guessed it I've made another lion card, this one I have water coloured using blender pens and Watercolour Wonder Crayons here it is.

Project Recipe:
Stamps: Zoo Review, Oval All
Ink:  Soft Suede
Card: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Big Shot etc: Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Punches: Scallop Oval, Large Oval
Accessories: Blender Pens, Neutral Watercolour Wonder Crayons, Piercing Tool, Matt Pack, Dimensionals

As soon as I saw the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue I fell in love with so many of the projects, the new Framelits Labels Collection page 9, the Bordering on Romance Stamp Set page 11, the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders page 9.  My projects today were made using these lovely products plus a little Whisper White Organza Ribbon and some Watercolouring using markers.

I started off using the Heart Embossed Design from Adorning Accents Embossing Folders, paired it with the Twitterpated DSP.

I also made a matching purse/box using the Framelits Labels Collection Dies and some Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon.

Project Recipe:
Stamps: Bordering on Romance, Loving Thoughts
