Sweet Sunday

Hi Everyone, It's been a jam packed week followed by a very lovely weekend and a sweet Sunday.  I've been away for the weekend with a girlfriend to beautiful Bremer Bay!!! Thanks Tara :O).  We had such a great time chilling out, walking on the beach, in Tara's case going for a swim... I'm not quite that brave I always have the jaws theme song playing in my head lol.

On top of my weekend away I've been absolutely flat out at work and making swaps I've got 90 finished for convention and am just finishing off my last 10 as we speak.  Luckily for me as I fly out to Canberra on Wednesday... yay so looking forward to it.  Though there will be some lovely ladies I'll miss this year... yep Bron, it just won't be the same without you.

So here's my card for this week - it's not midnight so I squeaked it in just.... lol.

Birthday Wishes Part 2

Hi All, hope your having a great week so far.  Things are ticking along for me I can't believe how time flies.  There are only 14 more days until I head off to Canberra for the Annual Stampin' Up! Convention.  I can't wait it's going to be so much fun, if only I could get everything done before hand.  Why is it just before we go away we are convinced we have to get 60 million more things done than usual.

I thought I might share with you the sweet little purse we made as a project at Jessica's birthday party.  I so love this purse it's so gorgeous and can hold some pretty cool stuff.  For Jessica's party the purses held a pair of earings and a cool little necklace as the attendee's little goodie bag present.  I've also been told they can hold a mini chocolate bar, lip balm or mini chocolate bar... lol.

This little purse has certainly done the rounds on the internet so I'm not completely sure who the original creator is.  But the website I found it on was the website Frenchie Stamps by France Martin.  It shows the project and has a cool little You Tube video to show you how to make it.

Project Recipe:
Stamps: Pennant Parade
Ink:  Soft Suede
Card: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP
Punches: Round Tab, Small Oval
Accessories: Piercing Tool, Matt Pack, Fiskars Scoring Blade, Metallic Brads

Birthday Wishes

Hi All, I'm sorry to say this post was supposed to go up on Tuesday night.  But I haven't been online for a bit and hadn't noticed it hadn't posted.  So please forgive me for the technical difficulties which prevented me from posting this till now.

I have some special birthday wishes to go out to Jessica Happy Birthday!!! Jessica turned 12 a couple of weeks ago but just this last weekend had her party.  I was lucky enough to go along and provide some projects for Jessica and her friends *wave* to create at her party.  We made a cute little handbag purse and a Birthday Card on the day.  The girls were great and had loads of fun :O)

Here is a picture of the Birthday Card we made, it has had quite a few incarnations on the internet so I'm not sure who first created the cute little present boxes.  If you know please leave me a comment and I can credit the creator.

Hi All, how did it get to be Wednesday, the week is running away from me.  Sorry that it's taken till now to do a post for this week.  I'm having a little trouble keeping up the pace lately due to some personal issues.  Usually my stamping is my "therapy" but I'm finding it a bit hard lately.  Have no fear I'll be back into the swing of things soon, fingers crossed :O).

My card for today was made a while ago but it's so simple and pretty I couldn't help but share it with you.
