Birthday Celebration
Hey Stampers
I'm back with another Birthday Card. Shannon West from Stampin' Up! has started a new trend #imbringingbackbirthdays to start and send out birthday cards to people rather than the easier way of sending a quick message on social media. This is a wonderful initiative by Shannon and my goal this year is to post out Birthday Cards so people get a special surprise in the mail. So I'll be featuring Birthday cards a lot as the year goes on. Here's a birthday card I posted out to one of my ladies for her Birthday this month!
Stamp Set: Grateful Bunch, Happy Birthday, Everyone (Hostess), Papillon Potpourri
Ink: Blushing Bride, Elegant Eggplant
Card: Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla
Punches: Elegant Butterfly, Bitty Butterfly, Trio Corner Punch
Accessories: Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, Tear Tape Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots

Botannical Birthday
Hey Stampers
Birthday cards are one of the cards I feature most in my classes. Everyone who comes to class can make use of an extra Birthday card in our stash. I try to make a mixture throughout the year, masculine, feminine, kids, fun, bright, floral... you name it we've probably covered something pretty close. For this card I decided to make use of the Botannical Blooms Bundle from the Occasions Catalogue, the papers, stamp and framelits all co-ordinate and are such fun colours and shapes.
Stamps: Botannical Blooms, Petite Pairs
Ink: Cajun Craze, Archival Basic Black, Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow
Card: Hello Honey, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Botannical Gardens DSP
Big Shot: Magnetic Platform, Botannical Builder Framelits
Punches: Ornamental Tag Topper
Accessories: Sponge Dauber, Gold Metallic Bakers Twine, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tear Tape Adhesive
Wishing you inky fingers and happy stamping,

Love is in the Air
Hey Stampers
As you know Valentines Day is coming up shortly so I thought I'd make a "love" inspired card using the new stamp set Balloon Builders from the Occasions Catalogue. I received this stamp set free for attending the Stampin' Up! OnStage Local Event in Perth in November. This is one of the lovely perks of attending Stampin' Up! events.
I always find Valentine's a little bit unusual not having a partner. So I usually end up making cards to share the love as they say with friends and let them know they are special to me. I also challenged the ladies that receive my newsletter to make a "love" themed card, romantic, friendly whatever form of love you express in papercrafts. So here is my version...
For inspiration for the card layout I used the Mojo Monday #432 sketch. I really love using the sketches from Mojo Monday. The card details are below:
Stamps: Balloon Builders
Card: Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip
Punches: Triple Banner Punch
Accessories: Adhesive Tape, Dimensionals
Wishing you inky fingers and happy stamping
