Hello
I'm a little late this week but have a cute Christmas card to share using products from the Holiday Catalogue. I started off with the sentiment for the card I love the cursive font and sentiments in the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set. As a play on the sentiment "Wrapped in the Warmth of Christmas" I chose the Flanel type pattern from Year of Cheer Specialty DSP. I also chose the Quilt Top Embossing Folder to add texture to the card front.
To make the Tranquil Tide punched out layer under the sentiment I punched two full shapes using the Everyday Label Punch then cut one in half and adhered each one to the back of the sentiment making sure some colour shows out the edge. Then with the second punch out shape I turned it vertically and adhered behind the sentiment. Then adhere all onto the gold foil snowflake for extra Christmas sparkle.
Stamps: Snowflake Sentiments
Inks: Tanquil Tide
Card: Tranquil Tide, Whisper White, Year of Cheer Specialty DSP
Punches: Triple Banner, Everyday Label
Big Shot: Quilt Top
Accessories: Foil Snowflakes, Adhesive, Dimensionals
# The Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set is available as a bundle with the Swirly Snowflake Thinlits at 10% discount. The Everyday Label Punch is available as a Bundle with the Merry Little Labels Stamp St also at 10% discount.

Clean & Simple Birthday
Hi All
Here's a quick clean and simple birthday card I designed for a private class recently. Clean and simple cards are sometimes a challenge for me as I like to add layers. This one came together very easily once I chose the designer series paper layer that gave me the colour co-ordination for the entire card. That's the easiest way for me to create simple cards pick a designer series paper to give me my colours and then a stamp set that co-ordinates.
Then I selected my Birthday Sentiment, in this case I liked the fact that it was quite a large sentiment as it could then become my focal point. A little co-ordinating card punched each end with the Triple Banner punch and then add some Rhinestones and hey presto.
Stamps: Window Shopping
Ink: Night of Navy
Card: Soft Sky, Emerald Envy, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Naturally Eclectic DSP
Punches: Triple Banner
Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels
I hope you enjoyed this card and gained a little bit of inspiration. My Online Store is where you can purchase any of these products if you liked them. Otherwise contact me directly and I can help you with your order.

Bright Bee's
Hi Ho Everyone,
Like most of you I'm looking forward to the arrival of spring. The warming weather the chirping birds, blooming flowers and increasing amounts of sunshine. Thinking of sunshine brings me to the bright and cheerful card I'm sharing with you today. I made this card a while ago but the bright and cheerful Daffodil Delight and cute bee's just called to me to share them.
For this card I embossed a card layer using the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. This card layer is just a little smaller than the card base. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White and then cut it down using the Triple Banner punch.
The Bee's are stamped individually on Whisper White in Basic Black Archival Ink and then the Daffodil Delight wings and body are Two-Step Stamped over the Line Image of the Bees. I fussy cut out each of the Bee's and then coloured over the wings using Clear Wink of Stella. I had three bee's as I didn't want them do be symmetrical so I layered them in a basic triangular shape.
Stamps: Dragonfly Dreams p138
Ink: Basic Black Archival 185, Daffodil Delight p186
Card: Daffodil Delight p186, Whisper White p185
Punch: Triple Banner p206
Big Shot: Hexagons Dynamic Textured EF p211
Accessories: Tear Tape Adhesive p 202, Dimensionals p203, Clear Wink of Stella p200

Hello Friend
Hi All
I have a wonderful friend who regularly mails cards out to family and friends, some just to say hi, some to help perk them up if they are having a hard time. It's such a wonderful expression of caring to write and send that card in the mail and to know the person on the other end will get a nice surprise and a bit of joy when they open the mail.
I made this card as a bit of homage to that process and also to remind me to send a card just because rather than just for big occasions. So here's to you my friend... you know who you are :O). For this card I used the Lovely Inside & Out Stamp Set it's such a fun set with it's bold words and shapes. This stamp set also co-ordinates with the Lovely Words Thinlits which are just gorgeous. When purchased as a bundle you can save 10% and know you will get lots of use out of both as they co-ordinate so well together.
I stamped the Fresh Fig circle image first as a background, the trick with any background is to stamp your images in a triangle - this helps balance things out. Then I cleaned the circle stamp and stamped it again in Sweet Sugarplum. Lastly I stamped the Smoky Slate droplet image randomly over the background. I stamped the word Friend in Sweet Sugarplum first and then stamped the Hello in Fresh Fig so I could line it up as I liked. Then I punched the layer with the Triple Banner punch and tied a bow with the Whisper White Bakers twine and layered it all together.
Stamp Set: Lovely Inside & Out, Thoughtful Banners
Inks: Fresh Fig, Sweet Sugarplum, Smoky Slate
Card: Fresh Fig, Sweet Sugarplum, Smoky Slate, Whisper White
Punches: Triple Banner
Accessories: Whisper White Bakers Twine, Dimensionals, Tear Tape Adhesive
Stampin' Up! have released some new products into the Clearance Rack once again so check it out at My Online Store along with any of the products you may like from the above project.

Birthday Balloons
Hello All
This is a card I made earlier on this year for my Dad's birthday. Like many of you I sometimes struggle with masculine cards. I love this colour combination and am very happy with how it turned out.
I started out with quite a bit of sponging to soften the edges of the card stock. The Crumb Cake card base and Very Vanilla layer where sponged with Crumb Cake ink. The Night of Navy layer was run through the big shot and the Dynamic Hexagons Textured Embossing Folder and then sponged with Night of Navy. The Cherry Cobbler layer was punched with the Triple Banner Punch and then sponged with Cherry Cobbler.
I stamped the smaller balloon in Cherry Cobbler ink on Very Vanilla card first and then stamped the clouds in Night of Navy. Then I stamped the larger balloon in Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Very Vanilla and then die cut with Up & Away Thinlits. The birthday sentiment was stamped using Night of Navy and the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
Stamps: Lift Me Up
Inks: Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake
Card: Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Punches: Triple Banner
Big Shot: Up & Away Thinlits, Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder
Accessories: Sponge Daubers, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Tear Tape Adhesive, Dimensionals

Day 30 Thoughtful Branches
Hiya Everyone
It's almost the end of the month only two more days left to purchase the exclusive Thoughtful Branches Bundle. I've really enjoyed creating with this stamp set and thinlits this month. I must admit I've really gotten my use out of the set. Hopefully you've enjoyed seeing my creations with this bundle and the other wonderful samples by the many talented stampers using this set. It's well worth every cent.
The card I'm sharing today is the second in a set I liked the birthday card and colour combination from yesterday so much I wanted to use it again. Seeing as I had so much use out of the other leaf image I thought I'd give it a holiday and use the small branch/leaf image instead. I continued on using the tone on tone stamping like I did yesterday. However this time I incorporated an oval cut out using the layering ovals thinlits and added some Basic Pearls, which never go out of style.
Stamp Set: Thoughful Branches, Balloon Celebration
Ink: Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry
Card: Pink Pirhouette, Very Vanilla, Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry
Punch: Triple Banner
Big Shot: Beautiful Branches, Die Brush
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Tear Tape Adhesive, Dimensionals, Tombow Glue
Cheers Peggy

Day 9 Thoughful Branches
Hello Again
Hope your weeks off to a fine start. I love Tuesdays, it's got something to do with it not being Monday and being into the week I guess. Anyway the card I'm sharing today is one of a set of six I made from a One Sheet Wonder. In case your not aware of what that is you take a mix of images that you like and stamp them over an entire sheet of card as a background. The card can be A5 or A4 depending on your size preferences. I find that people newer to this technique prefer to start off with an A5 sheet of card it's a little less daunting. Once you have stamped your background you then cut it up to make a whole stack of cards. It's a wonderful way to make co-ordinated cards and can be quick and easy.
I knew as soon as I saw the cute leaves and bird images in this set that I was going to do a One Sheet Wonder with them. All I had to do was decide on my colour combo, as you can see I went with Dapper Denim, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe, so it was an In Colour party. I must admit I like the pop of the Dapper Denim against the more subtle tones of the Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron, I hope you do too.

Day 8 Thoughtful Branches
Hi All
Well it's back to Monday once again, didn't the weekend just fly by. I've got the third Christmas Card Design in the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack for you today. The idea to turn the leaf image into a pointsettia was not mine, I saw many varieties and variations of this on pinterest and facebook, but I'm not sure who was the first with the idea. So to the creator of the original idea I gratefully give credit and thanks. Let me know who you are and I can link to your blog or creation.
I created this card with my Mum in mind, she loves traditional Christmas colours and is a keen gardener so I thought the pointsettia would appeal to her. This is also my favourite of the three cards because it's layered a little diagonally, which is a nice change for me.
Stamp Set: Thoughtful Branches, Reason for the Season
Ink: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler
Card: Cherry Cobbler, This Christmas DSP, Garden Green, Very Vanilla
Big Shot: Layering Ovals, Beautiful Branches, Magnetic Platform
Punches: Triple Banner
Accessories: Sponge Daubers, Tear Tape Adhesive, Dimensionals

Day 7 Thoughtful Branches
Hi All
Don't you just love Sundays, I sure do it's the one day of the week I don't schedule anything for the morning. Sunday mornings are just for my baby Adam (he's a daschund) and I to chill out together and get going at our own pace rather than rushing and getting here or there. I hope you get to enjoy some time like that for yourself at some point during the week.
Today's card is the next one in the set for the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack I have coming up later this month. Just as before the focal points were the Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and This Christmas Specialty DSP. Whenever I design cards for a Stamp-a-Stack I try and have the same colour scheme and at least some of the elements the same or similar. With this Stamp-a-Stack each card has some Ovals from the Layering Ovals Set a plain and Scallop Oval. There are also banners made using the Triple Banner Punch and also some sponging on each card.
Stamp Set: Thoughful Christmas, Flurry of Wishes
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Garden Green
Card, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, This Christmas Specialty DSP
Big Shot: Layering Ovals
Punches: Triple Banner
Accesories: Sponge Daubers, Tear Tape Adhesive, Dimensionals

Christmas is Coming
Hi All
While I don't know exactly how long till Christmas I know it's getting closer. In fact as I write this post I've got "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" running through my head. Maybe in part that's because I've been playing with the This Christmas Specialty DSP featured on page 27 and 172 in the Annual Catalogue. It's a nice set of traditional coloured themed DSP and it's wonderfully economical you receive 24 sheets in a pack 4 each of 6 double sided designs. That's a lot of Christmas DSP to create projects with.
The stamp set is a limited release only available 2nd - 31st August or while stocks last. The stamp set can be purchased as a bundle with the co-ordinating Thinlits called Beautiful Branches (both pictured below). As you can see from my cards so far it is a very versatile stamp set.

Let's Get Bohemian
Hey All,
Here's a nice little 3D project we made in class this month featuring the Bohemian Designer Series Paper. I love the bold bright patterns of this set of DSP. I found some sectional cardboard pen holders and we covered them using the DSP a belly band and pennant tag. The Retiring List is out again and one of the colours I'm going to miss the most is Blackberry Bliss, it's such a nice rich and deep colour. So I'll be sure to get a few more projects in before it and the other 2014-2016 In Colours Retire. Check out the retiring list here please be aware products on the retiring list are available until 31st May or while stocks last, some products are already sold out.
Stamp Set: Perfect Penants
Inks: Blackberry Bliss

Love is in the Air
Hey Stampers
As you know Valentines Day is coming up shortly so I thought I'd make a "love" inspired card using the new stamp set Balloon Builders from the Occasions Catalogue. I received this stamp set free for attending the Stampin' Up! OnStage Local Event in Perth in November. This is one of the lovely perks of attending Stampin' Up! events.
I always find Valentine's a little bit unusual not having a partner. So I usually end up making cards to share the love as they say with friends and let them know they are special to me. I also challenged the ladies that receive my newsletter to make a "love" themed card, romantic, friendly whatever form of love you express in papercrafts. So here is my version...
For inspiration for the card layout I used the Mojo Monday #432 sketch. I really love using the sketches from Mojo Monday. The card details are below:
Stamps: Balloon Builders
Card: Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip
Punches: Triple Banner Punch
Accessories: Adhesive Tape, Dimensionals
Wishing you inky fingers and happy stamping
